Sometimes, yes. Depending on your child’s age and needs, therapy may involve parent coaching, one-on-one sessions with your child, or a combination of both.
Children learn best from the people they spend the most time with. By equipping parents with practical strategies, we can create opportunities for learning throughout everyday life.
I only work online.
I currently provide services for children from birth to 7 years old. Depending on your child’s needs, support may include parent coaching and training, direct online therapy, or a combination of both.
Not always. While many speech, language and early literacy goals can be effectively supported online, there are some exceptions. At this stage, I do not provide online therapy for children with feeding or swallowing difficulties. If your child requires support in an area that cannot be managed safely online, I will discuss the most appropriate referral options with you.
Online sessions are interactive, engaging and tailored to your child’s age and needs. Younger children often participate alongside a parent or caregiver, who learns practical strategies to continue supporting communication between sessions.
If you are concerned that your child is not meeting communication milestones, has difficulty understanding or using language, struggles to pronounce words clearly, stutters, or is showing signs of early literacy or dyslexia difficulties, an assessment can help identify their strengths and determine whether support is needed.
